Biography
Dr. Abbott joined Abcentra in 2014 and serves as General Counsel. Dr. Abbott as extensive experience with intellectual property protection, managing litigation, supporting business development transactions, business compliance, risk management, and the development of biological therapeutics.
Prior to joining Abcentra, Dr. Abbott was Of Counsel at law firms where he specialized in the representation of pharmaceutical and medical device clients.
Dr. Abbott is a graduate of the Yale Law School and the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, a physician board certified by the American Board of Legal Medicine, a registered patent attorney, and a member of the California and New York State Bars.
