Biography
John Farina is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Abcentra and the managing partner of Glenbarr Partners, LLC, the largest equity holder in Abcentra. He was previously the founder of Quintar Corporation, a global digital imaging company and pioneer in electronic publishing, which was subsequently acquired by the Bell and Howell Company and later merged into Splash Technology.
He has over 30 years of experience at the helm of both public and privately-owned enterprises in the realms of technology, biotech, professional services, and digital imaging. As a senior partner and managing director at iXL Ventures he oversaw a diverse portfolio of over 30 companies and strategic partnerships with major venture capital firms.
Farina holds a Master of Arts in Communications Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Education and Mathematics from Villanova University.
